New restriction of movement in the Valencian region
The president of the Valencian community, Ximo Puig has announced that there will be no one allowed in or out of the “Comunidad” unless you have valid reason:
•Returning to you’re place of residence
•Hospital emergencies
•Going or coming back from work
Starting from tomorrow 12 pm and looking to last 7 days with the possibility of an extension of the numbers not come down.
People are still able to drive through the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellón so far.
In the last two weeks the number of cases has doubled, reaching 218 for every 100.000 residents.
The following areas have harder restrictions as numbers are a lot higher:
IN ALICANTE;
- Elche
- Elda
- Crevillent
- Ibi
- Pinoso
- Muro de Alcoi
- Petrer
- Health Department of Orihuela
- Health Department of Torrevieja
IN VALENCIA;
- Algemesí
- Guadassuar
IN CASTELLÓN;
- Morella
- Molés
- Onda
- Vinarós
The restrictions include 1/3 of capacity allowed in shopping centers and hotels.
50% of full capacity allowed on terraces (this is for bars and restaurants) And same goes for outdoor markets.
