Benidorm: 12 days with lowest COVID-19 caseload in Spain

Benidorm has recorded Spain’s lowest COVID-19 caseload for 12 days straight.
In Monday’s daily update the Valencian Community – home to Benidorm – showed 40.73 cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the last 7 days.
50 cases per 100,000 is considered an international benchmark for travel bans – Belgium has already removed Benidorm from its quarantine list.
The president of the Valencian Community, Ximo Puig, has for a week been asking the UK re-open a safe travel corridor with the region.
