Benidorm hotels 63% full – third week of August (17-23) the BEST since end of lockdown
Benidorm hotels are 63% full as the third week of August (17th – 23rd) showed the best statistics since the end of lockdown.
A weekly update from Benidorm hotel association HOSBEC calculated that occupancy rates are at:
- Hotels – 63%
- Tourist apartments – 47%
- Campsites – 78%
Hotel occupancy has continued to rise since the end of lockdown – however next week’s predications are at just 42% as Benidorm reaches the end of a difficult August.
Foreign tourism has been low, making up 14% of all hotel bookings, 23% of apartment bookings and a substantial 65% of campsites.
Benidorm currently has around 26,000 hotel beds free.
