Danny Tetley Try’s To Sell Video Day Before He is Remanded.
Former Xfactor star and Benidorm singer Danny Tetley offers video in exchange for money. He was last year was sentenced to 7 years for entering guilty pleas to five charges of causing sexual exploitation of a child.
These relate to five teenage boys aged 15 and 16 years, a connected court order had prevented publication of 4 other previous guilty please.
Danny Tetley, who reached the semi-finals of Britans X-Factor claimed that his offending was down to “fame he could not cope with” heard the court as Danny was sentenced last YEAR.
The courts prosecution stated that Danny Tetley victims were offered substantial amounts of money for indecent images and videos of themselves.
Tetley, now 39 lured his victims by discussing girls, gifts – offering one young boy a car, and by passing on images of XFactor stars.
Bradford crown court heard that 39-year-old Tetley “spent many thousands of pounds” to convince seven teenagers to send him pictures of themselves, telling one of them: “Trust me, the money isnt a problem as long as they are good”
Child sex offender Danny Tetley late last year had sent this video to Benidorm Reviews in an attempt to make money from it.
Benidorm Reviews declined any involvement but were unable to share due to reporting restrictions.

One of Danny victims said:
“We let him get away with it because of the amount of money we were offered in conversations on Whats-App”.
The singer admitted a total of 7 charges of sexual exploitation of young boys aged between 14 and 16 also 2 counts of the distribution of indecent images of children.
During his sentencing, Danny Tetly showed no emotion as he stood in the dock at Bradford crown court and was later jailed for a period of 9 years, plus an extended licence period of 8 years.
“Many will see you, I’m afraid, for what you are, to some extent: a despicable creature with very few redeeming features.” – said the recorder of the case at Bradford crown court.
“blatant and disgusting”, the judge added:
“The level to which you sank, Mr Tetley, was unbelievable.”
One of Dannys victims who had sent images at the time Danny was still appearing on television was a genuine fan of Dannys. The court heard that he had received videos from Danny of the cast of XFactor as part of the grooming process.
Danny Tetley also told another boy that he often forgot he was only 14 years old, saying “It is because you are so sound”, “and you are one of the lads” said Danny.”You’ve got a friend for life, mate, I will always help you out.”
Although not being proposed by Danny, two of the boys performed sexual acts on camera with one another in exchange for more money from Danny – the prosecutor confirmed.
The West Yorkshire Police who work closely with their partner agencies are committed to dealing with the sexual exploitation and abuse of children.
“We hope that Danny Tetleys sentencing will act as encouragement for others to come forward with confidence that their reporting will be fully supported and fully investigated to help bring child sex offenders to justice.”
