The next Benidorm Fancy Dress party is on Thursday 13th November 2025 here in Benidorm.

The now Traditional End of Season Benidorm Fancy Dress Party  has grow over the past 20 years from it’s start as a Promotional gimmick by Manolo from Sinatras Bar. He offered anyone who turned up on the day a Free Drink. This offer is now not in place as the attendance is now at 40,000 plus people attending the one day street party, although 2021 was less due to the Covid Pandemic.   

The day starts off outside Morgan’s Tavern at Mid day, With an enormous Paella. This is cooked at the roadside of the Bar. Once cooked, Everyone is offered some for Free.

Around 2pm the Parade starts at the top of the Strip (Sinatras & CafeB)

This is a time for all Bars & Local Companies to Say ‘Thank You’ to all their customers for the support you have given coming to Benidorm faithfully year after year. 

The floats in the Parade also are getting bigger & better each year, but with the pandemic 2021 was smaller in size. 2022 is planned to be the biggest Party yet due to a cancelled fiesta is 2020 and a smaller event in 2021. Above all they predict 2022 will hit the 50,000 visitor mark if Covid is behind us by then.

The Benidorm November Fiesta is actually nothing to do with the Fancy Dress party. We have added an extra day to the end of there own Fiesta.  

The actual Real Benidorm November fiestas are all about… Patronales Benidorm.

Benidorm honours its two patron saints, the Virgen del Sufragio and San Jaime apostle, with the annual “Fiestas Patronales” local fiestas.

The streets are transformed for the entire event with floral decorations & lively musicians. There is also open-air theatre with lots of  firework displays and religious parades.

The fiesta dates back to March 1740 when a boat appeared just off the Benidorm coast, therefore dragged in by a violent storm. 

The boat was burn to prevent an epidemic. Some local boys found the image of the Virgin in the rubble and took here to the church, where later a chapel was built. 

This story forms a large part of the November fiesta and each year the story is staged on Poniente beach on the Saturday around 17.00.  

NOVEMBER FIESTA SCHEDULE 2025

Benidorm Fiestas 2022 start’ Friday 11th November usually at 17:00. The event ends officially on Wednesday 15th November with a spectacular Firework display.

The finale Parade starts Wednesday evening usually about 6pm. Followed by the amazing Fireworks display (usually) on the Poniente Beach Benidorm after the main Parade ends.

The loud noise you hear are the loud thunderous fire crackers.  

They are set of  at 14:00 each day of the Benidorm Fiesta’s

Benidorm Holiday maker Anthony Lashford was staying at the very popular Sol Pelicanos Hotel – from the series ‘Benidorm’ – but went missing from Elche Hospital after being admitted for a broken wrist. 

It is believed Mr Lashford was not in a ‘good frame of mind’ when he went to the hospital and left on his own accord without receiving any medical treatment for his injuries. 

Benidorm Reviews are in contact with friends and family of Anthony – they told us they are not sure if he has any money with him and definitely does not have his luggage

The Policia Local Benidorm have declared Anthony as a missing person. His family is very worried and his Father is flying to Benidorm to help with the search. Anyone who sees him should call 112 or contact Benidorm Reviews immediately. 

Description

Anthony has been described as 5ft 11, with a tattoo on each arm and one on his left leg. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and white shorts.

He is from Macclesfield and has a northern accent.

Yesterday myself and a member of staff visited 6 Benidorm’s bustling hotels and spoke with management to ask their view on the Coronavirus and the effect it is having on tourism.

The hotels are saying not to cancel your St Patricks Day holiday, come and enjoy your well-earned time away.  All 6 hotels advised us that they are NOT in a state of panic but have put measures in place to help keep away the virus from Benidorm.

We asked them what their measures consisted of…

• All public areas already have notices and hand sanitiser in place for clients to use freely, staff are also trained to politely point this out to holiday makers. 

• In all of our public toilets, spa’s, community changing areas and hotel rooms we have provided hand soap for our guests use. 

• In public areas we have staff attending to items that are regulally touched, for exaple… lift buttons, hand rails, counter tops and door handles on a regular basis. 

• Our staff will not shake your hand but will now bow their heads instead. 

• Our cleaning staff are offered extra working hours to make sure all areas are to a high standard of cleanliness.

• All staff who work at our hotels will adhere hygiene and cleanliness information that we have provided them. 

Benidorm town hall has announced that the Fallas (a Spanish fiesta) here on the Costa Blanca have been postponed (not cancelled) this does NOT mean that the Irish St Patricks Day celebrations are to come to a halt.  They advised that while you are here, please be aware as you would at home to wash your hands on a regular basis.

The Benidorm Fallas have been postponed until further notice do to the Benidorm Council wanting to lessen the risk of people standing shoulder to shoulder in crowds for a period of time to help combat the risk of the infection reaching Benidorm. 

On walking between hotels we noticed how busy Benidorm was with the Cheltenham raced, talking to the Tourists they say the hotels are cleaner than their homes and the Atmosphere is still the same amazing Benidorm it always has been. 

The Hotel Marina in the center of Benidorm, with many holiday makers enjoying the sun while watching Cheltenham Races on the afternoon of 10th March 2020.

Here at Benidorm Reviews we was pleasantly surprised with the effort the hotels are making to make you feel safe. Every step is being made to make sure you have a pleasant holiday and the only Corona you will be seeing will be in bottled form.
