Woman on electric scooter killed by bus on Benidorm’s Playa Poniente
A 29-year-old woman has been killed by a bus while riding her electric scooter to work this morning.
The woman was wearing the overalls of a rehabilitation centre/ residence home when a municipal bus hit her at the junction between avenida Murtal and avenida de la Vila Joiosa.
The incident happened around 8.30am this morning.
According to Ahora Marina Baixa, police sources believe the bus may have crossed into the bicycle lane where the woman was riding.
An ambulance crew pronounced her dead at the scene. Policia Local will continue investigations into the death.
